This policy explains what information Algast IT Services (“Algast”, “we”) collects through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and in plain English.
Information you give us
When you fill out our Request an IT assessment form or email us, we receive what you choose to send, for example:
- your name, company name and email address;
- your phone number, if you provide it;
- details about your company and its IT, such as the number of users, the tools you use today and what you need help with.
Please do not send passwords, financial account numbers or other sensitive personal information through the form or by email.
Information collected automatically
This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. Like any website, our hosting provider (Microsoft Azure) may keep standard technical logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to operate and secure the service. Fonts on this site are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads.
How we use your information
- to reply to your request and discuss your IT needs;
- to prepare an assessment or proposal you asked for;
- to provide services if you become a client, and to keep normal business records.
We do not sell your information and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Where your information is stored
Form responses and emails are stored in our Microsoft 365 account (Microsoft Forms and Outlook). Microsoft processes this data on our behalf under its own privacy and security terms. We may also use other service providers to run our business, only as needed to serve you.
How long we keep it
We keep your information as long as needed to respond to you and, if you become a client, for as long as we work together and as required for business, tax or legal records. You can ask us to delete it at any time, as described below.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Email info@algast.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Children
This website is intended for businesses. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
